The Setlist is back at it again with a week full of fun and exciting live music events. As per usual, we are bringing you some of the best and newest artists hitting the scene with some highlights being a classic rock and roll musician coming from Uruguay for a special one-time performance, hyper-pop representation, and some good old indie singer-songwriter pop-rock for everybody. Here at The Setlist we love putting some new musicians under the spotlight for people to enjoy and share, so take a peek and follow us as we check out what this week has in store for us:
By the way, don’t forget! We’ve got an events calendar. If you have an event you’d like to promote, just fill out the form here and we’ll have it live on the site within 24 hours. THURSDAY 14
Ciclo uwu at Club Social 911
Of course, we are kicking off our week with brand new ciclo for all of you who love small but cozy festival experiences. This time the aptly named Ciclo uwu will feature artists such as Tomisaurio and his jangly pop-rock anthems, Proyecto Jacobino, and the widely and popularly loved Biloba among more artists who’ll flock to Club Social 911 for an afternoon of group chanting, drinking an all-around loveable vibe sharing.
What’s really cool about this event is that it’s a la gorra. This means you can pitch in with your hard-earned pesos to collaborate with the bands and the venue and become a part of this ever-expanding underground scene! Make sure to be there cause there’s limited space.
7pm| A la gorra | Club Social 911 | Dorrego 911

La Piba Berreta at Casa Brandon
With a “DREAMCUMPOP” version of her latest album Golpe de MSuerte, La Piba Berreta is ready to deliver yet another memorable show at Casa Brandon. For those who might not have heard about La Piba Berreta, all you need to know is that she embodies the wild energy of Throbbing Gristle in a wild punk energy similar to that of IDLES and Petrol Girls. Her latest album also incorporates elements of garage rock and even some synth-driven sections thrown in for good measure. A truly unique artist indeed.
Get your tickets by following our link here and score some tickets for a really wild night of music and over-the-top performances.
9pm| $900| Casa Brandon | Luis Maria Drago 236
SUNDAY 17
Hey Lemon, Hadita Cuantica and No Me Toques at Cooperativa Cultural Qi
We are ending our weekend events with an eclectic gig. First, there’s Hey Lemon a jangly and upbeat pop-punk band with off-kilter lyrics but so irresistibly happy vibes that you can’t help but love. Then there is Hadita Cuantica’s almost hyper-pop-ish songs that also have elements of bossa nova at times. Finally but certainly not least, the powerful and caustic No Me Toques with their kick-ass and violent sound will definitely provide some contrast to the fecha.
Please remember that the venue doesn’t take reservations so you’ll just get in as you start to arrive.
8pm| $500 | Cooperativa Cultural Qi| Thames 240
