As part of the MESA de Verano series of talks, chef Pamela Villar shows you how to use in-season produce and peaches in summer recipes that you can prepare at home. More than Vino Patero: Winemaking at Home

Take DIY to a whole new level by making your own wine at home. You’ve seen the kits for beer homebrewers, but probably wondered how it works with wine (your favorite beverage). Year of the Earth Pig: Chinese New Year 2019

A porteño favorite, the Chinese New Year celebration is a must-see. Activities will be taking place in the barrio chino all weekend, with the parade of the Dragon, a guest ballet troupe from Zhejiang province, musicians performing traditional Chinese music, professional calligraphers, demonstrations from local martial arts groups, and a fashion show of ethnic dresses from all over China. Entrance is free, although the event is cancelled for rain.
