TUE 06/11

Martitegui & Bargero – Mashup at Chila

Come enjoy an unforgettable experience at Chila, one of the top 3 restaurants in Argentina (the second member of Relais & Châteaux- an exclusive club of only 550 locations worldwide), which ranks #35 on Latin America’s 50 Best list. Their series of “encuentros” happens only 6 times a year, so don’t miss this mashup of German Martitegui (spent 240 days traveling Argentina to discover local ingredients and recipes, and chef at Tegui- ranked #49 of the World’s 50 Best) and Pedro Bargero (trained with Mauro Colagreco and focuses on fresh ingredients bought daily at the Mercado Central). The menu costs $4,500 with wines by D.V. Catena ($3,500 no alcohol). Only a few seats are left, so make sure to purchase your tickets before they sell out! To call: (5411) 4343-6067.

20.30 or 22:00 hrs. | CHILA – Relais & Chateaux | Alicia Moreau de Justo 1160 | Puerto Madero

Paint & Wine Night with Maia Chozas

Not your average paint-and-wine event. Hosted by De Copas y Brochas, you’ll be guided by a contemporary artist, Maia Chozas, as you plan and paint your canvas over a glass of Aime wine (and maybe a few beers from Bonita Brewing). Maia will invite you to get in her head as she shares her creative process and inspires the group to create their own version of the night’s theme. $550 includes all your materials and a glass of wine. Buy your ticket here.

20 hrs. | Bonita Brewing Company | Av. Libertador 2699 | Vicente Lopez

WED 07/11

Stella Artois & Museo Fortabat

Part of Stella Artois’ series of events featuring unique locations, local chefs, and the concept of a shared table, this night centers around a guided tour of the art collection of Alicia Lacroze de Fortabat and the culinary skills of Alejandro Feraud  (Alo’s) and Ignacio Trocca (Bestia). The three course menu doesn’t stray far from Argentine-Italian fine dining, but sides of pickled pear and desserts with balsamic vinegar, strawberry, and basil offer notes of surprise amidst the typical empanadas and ribs. Figuratively, as soon as you read this, buy your tickets! $800 each (~$70 service charge).

20 hrs. | Museo Fortabat | 141 Olga Cossettini | Puerto Madero

Masa at Elote

Just like every other Wednesday, chef Kevin Vaughn will be the special guest at Colombian restaurant Elote for his famous Masa Tacos pop-up restaurant. The menu will be filled with tacos, enchiladas and other fabulous twists on Mexican dishes.

19 – 23:30 hrs. | Elote | Jorge Newbery 3791 | Chacarita

THUR 08/11

You’ll receive free drawing supplies (sponsored by Filgo markers), tips from local artist known as “Fracasitos”, and happy hour prices.
